The Meaning of Custom Car Insurance

A major national ad campaign talks about "custom car insurance," but you get that from every insurance company, not just the one in the advertisement. Here’s how car insurance works:

Florida Auto Insurance Requirements

You don’t get a one-size-fits-all policy when you buy auto insurance from eAdvisorPro Property & Casualty LLC. Every customer at our Oakland Park, FL insurance firm gets a custom policy. Every policy meets the Florida legal requirements for liability insurance, but beyond that, you decide what coverage you want.

Every policy must contain at least $10,000 in personal injury protection (PIP) and $10,000 in property damage liability (PDL). Besides that, you choose what goes in your auto policy and the amount of coverage you want. Choose from:

  • Comprehensive
  • Collision
  • Roadside assistance
  • Gap coverage
  • Medical payments
  • Bodily injury liability

One of the 12 no-fault states, Florida does not require bodily injury liability, but you can add it if you want.

Personal Consultation

So, which coverage do you need? That depends on you. Contact us at eAdvisorPro Property & Casualty LLC for a consultation. We’ll ask you a few questions about your car, what you use it for, and how often you drive it.

We’ll also explain the various coverage types and how they help you. You can always get custom coverage on your automotive insurance. You can obtain the coverage amount you want with all types of coverage. If you add $10,000 or $50,000 of bodily injury liability, you can, but in Florida, you don’t have to add it.
